Purpose
|
The scholarships are
designed for advanced students, graduates and specialists t enable them
to study/carry out research at Danish University or institution of
higher education but not for elementary study. These are not Intended
for a full course of study as academic degree/diploma cannot normally be
obtained.

Eligibility
|
Indian nationals
residing in India. Age below 33 yrs (35 Yrs for SC/ST). Qualifications
uniformly good academic record with 60% marks at Master's degree in the
subject/related field. Experience 2 yrs consecutive teaching/research
after passing the prescribed qualification/. M.Phil degree is counted
towards experience. Upper age limit and experience can be relaxed upto 3
months in case of brilliant candidates. Candidates should have obtained
an invitation from one of Danish language are preferred. Candidates
having no knowledge of Danish should be fluent in English/German to
receive guidance From teachers/scientists. Additional Requirements: 2 yrs
consecutive stay in India after return from abroad on study/training and
good knowledge about Denmark.

Value
|
Scholarship covers free
tuition plus a monthly allowance D.Kr 3720 for students and graduates
and D.Kr 4280 for research workers/specialists. The scholarship is
annually regulated and is tax free in Denmark unless the total stay
exceeds 365 days with in 2 yrs period. The scholarship is intended to
cover living expenses of a person and additional amount for accompanying
member is not available. Scholarship holders are not allowed to enter
into paid employment.

Procedure
|
Typed application, duly
sponsored by employer, with attested copies of certificates may by
submitted on plain paper by prescribed paper date. Advance application
may be considered if it is subsequently received through the employer
with two weeks.
