Subject

The fellowships have been designed primarily for persons who are qualified for entry in the Master's Degree course in Hydrology. In exceptional circumstances fellowships may be extended for a second or subsequent year to enable a person to take the PhD degree. This concession is intend mainly for persons for advanced standing/position engaged in Hydrology in India. It is presumed that fellowship holders will return to work in water resource development.
           

Environmental Resources Management, Community Health, Compensatory and Remedial Education and Developmental Studies.
             

Eligibility

Age upto 3yrs. Qualifications-First class degree in Hydrology/engineering/related science subjects for postgraduate course in Hydrology. Experience 2 yrs consecutive practical training/research/teaching experience after obtaining the prescribed qualification. Additional Requirements: Good knowledge about Ireland, 2yrs consecutive stay in India after return from abroad for study/training.
           

Value

Fellowships cover return travel from India, University fee, living allowance in addition to supplement for books, preparation of thesis, warm clothing etc.

Procedure

Typed application with attested copies of testimonials, photograph, plans for employment and other documents may be submitted on plain paper in prescribed format by notified date. Employed persons are expected to send their applications through their employer.
