education in India - Minimum Second Division.
2) For Professional/Technical higher
studies in India or Abroad - Minimum First division.
Or passing the Technical/Professional -
Entrance examination.

Loan Amount School/College education in
India - 90% of total cost of study. Ceiling Up-to six times the net (take
home) monthly income of Parent/Guardian/ Student. Maximum loan amount
Rs.1, 00,000 lakh.
Technical/Professional Higher Studies
in India or Abroad - 90% of the expenses, not exceeding Rs.8, 00,000
lakhs.

Independent regular source of income of
the Parent/Guardian is required.

Repayment For
School/
College
education in India |
Installment commencing immediately
after disbursal by the Parent/Guardian/ Self to be repaid within a
maximum period of 36 months.

Technical/
Professional/Higher education in India/
Abroad
|
Regular periodic remittance at least to
cover the interest applied on the account even while the student pursues
studies within a maximum period of 60 months after completion of studies
or securing a job whichever is earlier.
No penalty for early repayment of the
installment/loan.
