The pay scales of officers in the insurance sector as given by the Government of India are given below.

· Assistant Administrative Officer: Rs 2,100 - 4,260
· Administrative Officer: Rs 2,940 - 4,520
· Assistant Manager: Rs 3,660 - 5,050
· Deputy Manager: Rs 4,520 - 5,350
· Manager: Rs 5,350 - 5,950
· Assistant General Manager: Rs 5,950 - 6,550
· General Manager: Rs 6,400 - 7,000
· Chairman: Salary based on contract 

Along with the basic pay given above, allowances are given which amount to about 200 per cent of the basic pay.
