The larger and well-known NGOs offer a starting salary of Rs 3,500/- per month to a fresh post-graduate.
The smaller organizations pay between Rs 1,200 to Rs 1,800 per month. 
Those employed as personnel and labour welfare officers start with a salary of Rs 4,000/- per month and above.
