Private Schools : Rs 2,000 upwards, consolidated per month.

Government Schools : Rs 1,400-2,600
Private Schools: similar salaries.

Scales of pay for secondary school teachers : Rs 2,000-3,500 or Rs 1,640-2,900 depending on the educational institution. Allowances and benefits as per rules.
