Remunerations
Remuneration varies according to the particular organization institution where the pharmacist is employed. Government organizations offer Class I pay scales, along with the usual allowances, perks and other benefits.
The Directorate (Medical) has, in fact, laid down the pay scales for new entrants, from approximately Rs 1,400 to Rs 2300 per month. In industrial organizations, remuneration varies according to the level of sophistication involved in the job, as well as the financial outlay that is earmarked for research. In private hospitals and nursing homes, the remuneration is approximately Rs 3,200 per month.

Work done by pharmacists in laboratories is always result oriented and therefore, provides a lot of job satisfaction.
