The AIMA Center for Management Education has founded its distance/open-learning programme in the realization that this flexibility would be particularly suitable for busy managers for whom full-time study or even regular commitment to a part-time course is not practical.
The course offers a choice of programmes to enable candidates to pick the one most suited to the furtherance of their career. The minimum age for this course is 25 years and it is open only to those with a minimum of three years experience in a managerial position. It also accepts practicing professionals and self- employed people.

Conducts a Master's programme in international business.
2. Institute of Rural Management, Anand, Gujarat.
3. Institute of Rural Management, Gandhigram, Tamil-Nadu
The latter two offer post-graduate programmes in rural management.
4. The Tata Institute of Social Science, Bombay
For an MA in personnel management and industrial relations.
