Eligibility
Postgraduates in anthropology are often employed in museums, where they are involved in various projects, including excavations and research on various anthropological collections. Postgraduates can also go in for teaching in colleges and universities as well as for research in particular branches of anthropology.
Eligibility
For a B.Sc. in anthropology, a candidate must have cleared the intermediate level examination, with a background in science, while for a M.Sc. in anthropology; the three-year B.Sc. programme is required. Most candidates are selected on the basis of merit, which is generally assessed through the candidate's performance in the previous examination.
Duration
The B.Sc. programme in anthropology is of three years, duration. The M.Sc. programme is for two years. The M.Phil. course is of one and a half years duration, whereas for Ph.D., a minimum of two years is required.
