Food technologists at the beginning of their careers draw a salary of Rs 3,000 to Rs 4,000 per month. Food technologists having about five years experience receive salaries in the range of Rs 6,000 to Rs 9,000 per month, whereas those having 15 years experience receive salaries ranging between Rs 12,000 and Rs 20,000 per month.
